We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Intern to be a part of our newly created digital team for 2-3 months. We are looking for a person who is passionate about fashion, retail industry and enjoys Social Media. The successful candidate will have proven hands on experience of working with a startup company. Focused on driving e-commerce initiatives across all digital customer service channels, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of House of Tamarind's future digital strategy


  • Evaluate emerging social media marketing opportunities.

  • Increase online client base and engagement through promotion strategies.

  • Strategise methods of metrics for monitoring marketing effectiveness including brand awareness, brand equity and sales results.

  • Strategise SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & Social Media advertising across multiple platforms.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media promotion schedule.

  • Manage and create fashion blog posts.

  • Manage and create influencer spotlight content.

  • Work alongside marketing & buying team to complete various daily tasks and photoshoot preparation.

  • Complete various tasks in the day related to buying, inventory counts and competitive tracking.


  • Ability to work within a team as well as on your own with minimal supervision.

  • Self-motivated and positive attitude and ability to thrive in an ever changing, dynamic environment.

  • Good Communication Skills.

  • Motivated and excited to help our team with various tasks, as well as provide creative input and strategies that can make an immediate impact on the business.
